Located in Herdade do Zambujeiro, La Varzea is the only polo club in Portugal and the second largest on the Iberian Peninsular.  Complete beginners and regular players need only arrive with their own equipment as everything else can be hired on-site at competitive rates.

There is one stick and ball ground and two match grounds. Steal In 2008 another two match grounds are being added, followed by a further four match grounds in 2010.

The charming Club House has a range of facilities including a bar, restaurant, Spa, gymnasium and overnight accommodation.
