La Varzea offers two categories of members – playing and non-playing – and there is a fee scale according to age in order to encourage families and younger people into the sport. There are also special rates for members of certain other foreigner polo clubs.

Membership is by application and conditional upon being accepted and payment of an annual fee.  Rates are reviewed annually and promulgated at year end, effective from 31 March the following year.
